Our Network
Value Network was founded through the leadership and collaboration of behavioral health organizations committed to building a stronger, more connected system of care across Western New York.
Our Founding Partners
Today, that foundation has grown into a diverse network of 50-plus organizations — Network Partners, Affiliate Partners, IBH Partners, and Community Collaborators — bringing together behavioral health providers, healthcare systems, and community organizations. Together, we are leaders in the behavioral healthcare field and beyond.

Two paths into the Network: one for behavioral health providers who form its core, and one for healthcare and community-based organizations that support them.
For behavioral health organizations licensed under Article 31 or Article 32, and for peer-service providers — organizations that bill insurers for mental health or substance use services.
For hospitals and healthcare systems, primary care IPAs, health home providers, and community-based organizations that support behavioral health without billing for those services directly.

Innovations in Behavioral Health

New York State is one of three states in the country selected for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services' (CMS) Innovations in Behavioral Health Demonstration Project.
Value Network and Western New York were selected by New York State to lead this eight-year initiative. We work closely with state leadership to engage participating Partners while supporting the design and implementation of the care delivery framework, IT infrastructure, and innovative payment models.
Improve the quality of care and behavioral and physical health outcomes for adults enrolled in Managed Medicaid and Medicare with moderate to severe mental health conditions and substance use disorders.

Our non-profit arm
Founded in 2024, Value Network, Inc. is our non-profit sister organization. It exists to further the charitable mission of our Partners: developing and facilitating funded programs that improve the health of individuals with behavioral health needs, supporting the integration of behavioral and physical health care to improve health outcomes, and providing education that promotes a deeper understanding of the services and supports these individuals need.
Same Board, same Partners, a second way to fund the work. In its first year, Value Network, Inc. secured $55,000 in grant support.
